Your donation helps shelter dogs in need

Throw a Dog a Bone Dog Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving dogs and puppies in rural South Texas. We also support and empower our community with a spay and neuter program to help owners end the cycle of unwanted puppy litters. 

We are an all-breed dog rescue and do not discriminate on the breed or the health of the dogs that we accept into our program. Our expenses go beyond the fee that adopters pay for their dogs. We pay for surgeries from injuries (such as leg amputations or damaged eye removal), heart worm treatment for HW+ dogs, vet fees for community spay and neuter surgeries, and spay and neuter for dogs in our program. At any one given time, we have more than 50 dogs in our program that need dog food, vaccines, toys, and supplies.
